Yesterday’s Lady Lions game was a very busy one. It was the team’s annual Pink Zone game which continues to drastically grow each year, in addition to senior day, and then they clenched a second straight Big Ten title. I usually shoot around 400-500 frames at a Penn State basketball game, after this game I had 1100 frames, which is around what I shoot for a football game. I was shocked with how much I photographed but with all the activities and the photos needed for news and sports I sorted through my favorites.
The first half of the game was quick, with the Lady Lions dominating the court.
Half time was a celebration of life for those who have battled breast cancer with a mid court concert and recognition.
Michigan came back fighting in the second half to close the gap in the points, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Lady Lions.
