Geocaching with the Governor

This afternoon I had a unique assignment to spend the afternoon with Governor Corbett.  When the Governor is in the county we are there, usually he’s addressed a crowd of people or at a Penn State board of trustees meeting.  Today he was out in nature and geocaching with local youngsters.

Geocaching, which I had to look up before I headed to Bald Eagle State Park, is like a a treasure hunt, but with a gps device instead of a map and compass.  Despite a few rain clouds the group followed the trails to discover several caches and to learn the state fossil of Pennsylvania is the trilobite.
