CBI Tournament
The Penn State men’s basketball team fought through the regular season ending with a 15-17 record. The team didn’t qualify for the NCAA but were given the opportunity to play in the College Basketball Invitational. With the positive look of getting some more playing time together as a team they opened the tournament with a game at home against Hampton.

Return to Rec Hall
After a 17 years Penn State men’s basketball returned to Rec hall today for a game against Princeton. The sold out crowd was full of energy as Penn State led in the first half.
Things unwound for the Nittany Lions in the second half which led to an overtime loss with a missed layup as the buzzer went off.

Penn State Men’s Hoops
With the last Penn State football game over the weekend it’s now time for winter sports. I covered one of the men’s exhibition games a few weeks ago, but now the season is in full swing. Last night’s late match up against Boston College was part of the ESPN’s ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
Since the game didn’t start till after 9, I was only able to photograph the first half to meet deadline.
After I transmitted photos I started to wonder around the Bryce Jordan Center to look at some different angles to get more variety from my basketball shoots. For a future game I’d like to take in a longer lens and try this angle from the stands.
